Although originally from Peoria, Illinois, John has lived in many places including Missouri, Louisiana, Delaware, Japan, Taiwan and now New Jersey. His love of photography stems from his family’s travels when he was a child, to commercial shoots as an adult. John worked as an art director/creative director for over 20 years at advertising agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide and McCann-Erickson.
Shooting on location in places like South Africa, Namibia, Spain, New York City and Los Angeles all contributed to his love of documenting the world around him. When he wasn’t on location art directing commercials for Foster Grant, Black & Decker, Procter & Gamble and New Jersey Lottery, he was behind the scenes documenting them.
His obsession with photography has lead to his work being exhibited in several galleries
including the Noye’s Museum in Atlantic City, the Old Town Hall Museum in Mullica Hill, and the Ringwood Manor Association of the Arts — as well as many online galleries as well. Currently John is a free lance photographer with Bella Baby Photography and a contributing photographer for Shutterstock, Adobe Stock and Getty Images, with over 10,000 images available. John lives in North Jersey with his wife and two kids and blow up shark.
